1. Information we collect

- Account information — name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Payment information — billing details processed by our secure payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
- Support messages — anything you send to [email protected] or our WhatsApp line.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, session length, subscription status.
- Device information — device type, operating system, IBO Player version.
- IP address — used for region detection, fraud prevention and service delivery.
- Cookies — session cookies for authentication and privacy-friendly analytics (see section 6).
1.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect government identification numbers, biometric data, or financial account details beyond what the payment processor needs to complete a transaction.
2. How we use your information
- Deliver the Service — activate and manage your subscription, authenticate your device, stream content.
- Process payments — complete transactions and send receipts.
- Provide support — answer questions, troubleshoot, resolve disputes.
- Improve the Service — analyse usage patterns to strengthen performance and lineup.
- Send service messages — order confirmations, renewal reminders, important notices. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
- Prevent abuse — detect and block unauthorised account sharing.
- Meet legal obligations — respond to lawful requests from Canadian authorities.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing.
3. Legal basis for processing
- Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver your subscription.
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, service security, analytics.
- Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law in Canada, including PIPEDA.
- Consent — where we ask for it explicitly, such as optional communications.
4. Data sharing
- Payment processors — to complete transactions securely under their own privacy policies.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting and CDN partners processing data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
- Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of TigerTV and its users.
All third-party processors must maintain appropriate security measures and are prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.

After the retention period, data is permanently deleted or anonymised.

- Essential cookies — required for sessions and site functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors move through tigertv.ca. You can opt out through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

8. Data security
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
- Encrypted storage for sensitive account information.
- Access controls limiting who can view personal data.
- Regular security reviews of the panel and member area.
No system is perfectly secure. Should a breach affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant Canadian authorities as required by law.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it promptly. Parental controls are available inside IBO Player — see the setup guide.
10. International transfers
Your data is processed in secure data centres. Where data is transferred outside Canada, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at https://tigertv.ca/privacy.html with a revised date. Material changes are announced on WhatsApp or a prominent notice on the site.
